Maureillas is a charming little village near the spa resorts of Le Boulou and Amélie les Bains.

• 15 minutes from the seashore, near small tourism-friendly villages like Collioure, Port-Vendres, and Banyuls-sur-Mer.
• 8 km from the Spanish border, at the start of the Pyrenees.
• 5 km from Céret, with its small outdoor market
• 20 km from Perpignan.

About 20 km away (Argelès, Collioure, Banyuls), you can enjoy fine sandy beaches and the Vermeille Coast, or take a quiet stroll in the mountains (Les Albères, Le Canigou, Font-Romeu, etc.). You’ll also have the fun of being so close to Spaon (Le Perthus, La Costa Brava, etc.) .

Day trips include Andorra and Barcelona, as well as Figuères with its famous Salvador Dali museum.

The “holy” mountain of the Catalans: “Le Canigou”, 2768 m high, awaits you for gorgeous hikes, while also featuring bike paths and footpaths around the campsite.

Sports activities

For sports activities, everything can be found nearby: right next to the campsite is a ranch for horse or pony rides.

At Lac de Saint Jean Pla de Corts, a lake in an unforgettable forested setting, you can enjoy fishing, the adventure park (the forest ropes course of Saint-Jean pla de Corts), pretend to be adventurers in the treetops, or simply enjoy the recreational area with pedal boats, the fitness trail, and pony rides.
